Cherry tree seeds (Torresia acreana Ducke), collected in Pimenta Bueno - Rondonia, were submited to a germination test in sand, absorvent paper and soil substracts at different temperatures (250C, 300C, 350C, and 250C-350C). Daily count were made to verify the effect of substract and temperature on a germination test and speed index germination. It was concluded that 300C sand substract were the best for this kind of seeds.
