FLAVIO POPINIGIS

ln Brasil, seed research coordination is under EMBRAPA ? The National Agricultural Research Enterprise, CNPq ? The National Research Council and ABRATES ? The Brazilian Association of Seed Technology. At EMBRAPA, it is coordinated through the National Research Programs, by comodity; at CNPq, through the Agriculture Coordination Office, supported by an Assistant Council: and at ABRATES, through specific subject Commitees. In all cases, the basic programming unit is the research project, which shall focus one of the priorities previously established by the coordinating institution.
