QUALITY CONTROL OF CARROTSEEDS DURING CONDITIONING

The quality control of carrot seed (cv. Kuronan) was studied during conditioning. At each cleaning stage seed samples were taken and analysed for germination, vigor, seed weight and embryoless seed. It was observed that the best seed was obtained with air cleaner plus gravity table. Those seeds gave correlation between seed weight and germination (0,54**) and seed weight and embryoless seed (0,47**).
