Bauhinia forficata Link. (Pata de vaca) Leguminosae Caesalpinoideae, is a plant used for medicine in cases of diabetes; it?s largely used in popular medicine and now it has been explored by industries. In this paper we present the temperature and substrate conditions to the germination test, and also the morphology of the normal and abnormal seedling. The results showed that 30°C and vermiculita are the best treatments, as they showed statistics values higher than the others.
