GERMINATION OF Gmelina arborea ROXB. SEEDS

The present study was undertaken to find the optimum conditions for the germination test of Gmelina arborea Roxb. seeds. The seeds were placed on vermiculite, sand and paper towel substract, in a germinator at 25°C and 30°C constant, and 25°/35°C alternate temperatures. Periodically, the seedlings were evaluated. The optimum conditions were the 25°C constant and vermiculite substract.
