Rice seeds (Oryza sativa L.) variety BR-IRGA 410 (semi-dwarf type) were treated with a plant groth regulator Pro-bigg, having gibberellic acid (GA3) as active ingredient in two doses 0.0 and 1.00g GA3/50kg of seeds. The rice seeds were seeded with five herbicides: molinate, propanil, quinchlorac, clomazone and pendimethalin. The follows parameters were evaluated: field emergence, speed of emergence index, dry matter weight and seedling height. The results allowed to conclude that the gibberellic acid: a) increase field emergence, speed of emergence index and seedling height; b) its use is compatible with herbicides used in the oriziculture.
