The objective of this research was to determine a single and effective process to acelerate and uniformize seed germination of turco (Parkinsonia aculeata L.) and acácia gomífera (Acacia senegal (L.) Willd.). The mechanical scarification and imersion in hot water have showed the best results in turco. In seed of acácia gomífera the germination results did not differ significantly, however, the speed germination in seeds presented meaninful differences among the treatments, and it was verified as more efficient with sulfuric acid during 3 minutes.
