PEANUT SEED PHYSIOLOGICAL QUALITY AFFECTED BY SIZES AND DENSITIES

Peanut seeds from the Tatú Vermelho cv. were classified by size through screens 18, 20 and 22, and the control not classified. After were passed in a specific gravity separator and separed in three density classes (light, medium and heavy) for every screen. Subsequently were submitted to a sand emergence test and, evaluated the 100 seed weight, the seedling heigth and the seedling dry weight. The density and size of seeds affected its physiological quality, and the classification
