The morphology of the fruits, seeds and seedlings of Caesalpinia pyramidalis. Tul. (Caesalpinaceae) and of Zizyphus joazeiro Mart. (Rhamnaceae) were described and illustrated. The description of fruits and seeds were related to the shape, size, surface, hilum and position shape and embryo. For the morphology description of the seedlings, the seed of Caesalpinia pyramidalis were germinated in vermiculite in germinator, at 27ºC and the seed of Zizymphus joazeiro in organic mixture and organic in ambience temperature
