The objectives of this paper were to describe and to illustrate the external and internal morphological aspects of fruits, seeds and seedlings, as well as the germination process of candeinha (Eremanthus incanus Less.). This study was carried out in the laboratory and greenhouse. The fruit is an achene with globe-shaped glands recovering the surface and a bristled pappus; the seed is obovoid with a straight spatulate-shpaed embryo; the germination is epigeous-phanerocotylar and in the seedling phase the root system is fascicled and seedling growth is slow with a continuous leaf-fall. The results can be used in taxonomic studies, in germination tests in laboratory and seedling production in nursery, as well as in silvicultural and ecological studies.
