The experiment was carried out at the Department of Agronomy of the Universidade
Estadual de Londrina, Londrina, PR, during the month of May 2000, to estimate the influence of
the separation method for camomile seeds using adhesive spreader on the seed germination.
Solutions of nonil phenoxi poli (ethilenoxi) ethanol (200g i.a.l-1) spreading adhesive in deionized
water in the concentrations of zero (test); 0.61035; 9.76563; 156.25 and 2500mg.l-1 it was used to
the separation. The germination tests were plastic box on the germination paper and constant
temperature of 15°C. A complete randomized design was used, five treatments with eight
replications of 100 seeds. The experimental data was submitted to analysis of variance and means
comparison by the Tukey test (p<5%). The use of adhesive spreader solutions didn?t prejudice the
germination and they advanced one day this process.
